How many LEGO pieces does it take to build a model of the 1970 Fender Stratocaster in either red or black with an amp?
LEGO Ideas Fender Stratocaster set by fan designer Tomáš Letenay from Slovakia answers that question with 1074 pieces.
This LEGO built six-string, features poseable tuning pegs and a tremolo arm, plus, a folding display stand, and an accompanying foot pedal and amp.
The amplifier’s back and top covers can also be removed to show its inner speaker code, wiring, and intricate details such as the tubes, speaker and motherboard.
It’s also not an actual guitar so you can’t play it and is a scale model. The model that set 21329 builds is smaller than the actual thing.
But it makes a great display piece.
I used to play electric guitar when I was a teenager and I always dreamed of owning a Fender Stratocaster – but I could never afford it.

So he built one out of LEGO for the LEGO Ideas competition.
The LEGO Ideas Fender Stratocaster set will be available from 1 October 2021 at LEGO Certified Stores and LEGOLAND in Malaysia.
Its recommended retail price is RM499.90.
