Recently, a secondary school teacher who organised an online learning session through Zoom was left alone when none of his students came online to join his class.

Despite spending hours learning how to use Google Meets and Zoom to prepare for the online class, the teacher’s efforts went unappreciated as attempts to reach his students failed.

Some even turned off their mobile phones so that they would be unreachable when Cikgu Mustakim tried to call them.

However, things this week have taken a turn for the better as Cikgu Mustakim’s students have called to apologise and ask to join his online classes!

According to his daughter, Cikgu Mustakim now has a full classroom again with his students. Many have called him to apologise for missing his previous online classes and requested that he start another one.

Cikgu Mustakim happily obliged and hosted another online class, this time grateful and elated that it was attended by his students.

As Cikgu Mustakim teaches students facing their SPM this year, it is even more important that they are able to focus on their studies. As long as the Movement Control Order (MCO) is in place, classes will have to be held online.

We wish Cikgu Mustakim and his students all the best in their studies!
