Malaysia Hits Record-Breaking 2,188 New Cases Today, With 70% From Selangor
A majority of the cases reported in Selangor are from the Teratai Cluster with 1,511 cases.

Malaysia breaks the 2,000-mark in daily Covid-19 cases with a staggering 2,118 new cases recorded today.
Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 1,623 (74.2%), followed by Sabah with 232 cases (10.6%) and Perak with 112 cases (5.1%).
Based on the data by the Health Ministry, a majority of the cases reported in Selangor are from the Teratai Cluster with 1,511 cases.
Teratai Cluster is linked to the Top Glove factory and worker’s hostel in Meru, Klang. It is currently the biggest cluster in Klang Valley with 4,036 confirmed infections.
MOH said that medical and public health teams have been mobilized to the affected areas to assist in all control and prevention activities.
The Ministry also reported 4 deaths from the coronavirus today while 1,673 patients have recovered.
