Kelantan Has A Dikir Barat Song About Observing MCO

We’ve seen some creative ways to encourage people to stay at home but Kelantan has taken it to the next level with a ‘dikir barat‘ song.

The name of the song is Duduk Di Rumah (Stay At Home). It features two dikir barat singers and was published on the Kelantan Information Departmentâ€™s (JAPEN) Facebook page, complete with a music video to boot.

Kelantan Information Department (JAPEN) director Lim Ann Teck says lyrics were written with the collaboration of the department and the song has been aired through loudspeakers of mobile units in the state.

They’re also planning to air the song on Kelantan FM.

Lim said that the song hopefully can help the public understand about Covid-19 and added that feedback has been positive, especially from those living in more interior areas.
