Decomposing Female Body Found In Suitcase At Kulai Bus Stop

When it was found, the skeleton had decomposed more than 50 per cent and filled with maggots.

A woman’s body was found in a trunk at a bus stop in front of the Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) building in Kulai.

Kulai District Police Chief, Superintendent Tok Beng Yeow, said his men received information from a man regarding the discovery of the skeleton at 1.50 pm on Wednesday (12 April).

According to him, when the corpse was found, it had already decomposed more than 50 per cent in addition to maggots.

The body was then sent to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) in Johor Bahru for the post-mortem process. The woman is believed to have been killed more than two weeks ago, however the cause of death is still under investigation.

The results of the autopsy found that the gender of the corpse was a woman aged approximately 25 years, with injuries under the skin of the head.

Beng Yeow added that the investigation into the case was carried out under Section 302 of the Penal Code, and the offender could be sentenced to death.

The police request the public’s cooperation with information regarding the incident to come to the Kulai District Police Headquarters.
