The man, whose username is Chiew Wei, had parked his car next to the rojak stall and asked the seller to send it to him when it was ready.
The man explained that he made this request because the weather was too hot, and the
hawker replied, “Of course, no problem”.
However, when the vendor brought the rojak over, he was dumbfounded.
He came with a cane, and I hurriedly opened the car window and said, ‘Uncle, I’m sorry, I really didn’t notice that you have limited mobility. The hawker said it was okay; he could walk back to get the change, but Chiew Wei asked the peddler to wait for him to get it instead.
Unexpectedly, the hawker stopped him when he was about to cross the road and said it would be okay to pay next time.
Moved by the gesture, Chiew Wei gave the hawker RM50 and asked him to keep the change.
He said the hawker smiled happily but kept repeating, “You give too much”.
