IKEA Cheras Reports Covid-19 Case, Will Be Closed Today

A routine test of staff working at the Cheras IKEA store has revealed Covid-19 positive cases.
In an announcement, IKEA confirmed that their security guards tested positive. These guards last worked at IKEA Cheras on 23 January 2021 (Saturday). All security guards are now currently in self-quarantine.
Additionally, IKEA Cheras will be closed today (25 January 2021) as a precaution and to undergo complete sanitisation and full contact tracing according to the Ministry of Health’s SOPs.
Those who have visited IKEA Cheras on Saturday are advised to self-quarantine as a pre-caution.
