Alliance Bank confirmed that a staff member has tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement released today, the bank explained that the non-client facing employee had returned from Sabah on 27 September, but physically absent from work since 12 September before she traveled to the state.
This employee has not had any physical contact with any other employees at the office since then. The employee is currently undergoing medical treatment at an appointed government hospital.Alliance Bank.
The bank assures that they are strictly observing all safety measures in accordance to the Health Ministry’s SOPs.
The Health Ministry had previously announced that those entering Peninsular Malaysia from Sabah between 27 September to 10 October will have to undergo home quarantine and be screened for Covid-19.
