We Compiled A List of M’sian Hospitals handling Covid-19 cases for you

In times of crisis such as this, it’s easy to go straight into panic mode especially when you’re experiencing symptoms similar to that of Covid-19.

However, Malaysian Health Ministry highly recommends you to visit nearby general practitioners or private clinics first. The doctor will then check your symptoms more thoroughly before determining whether a follow up is necessary.

Malaysia classifies hospitals handling Covid-19 cases into two types: screening hospitals and admitting hospitals. The latter are equipped with adequate isolation facilities and health care medical workers who have been trained to manage Covid-19 patients.

In recent updates, hospitals across Malaysia are contacting individuals in an effort to trace people under investigation (PUI). One of the hospitals that has started doing so is Sarawak General Hospital.

Just in case you receive phone calls from these hospitals, be sure to cooperate. We’ve taken the liberty to gather the contacts of every general hospital that might call you one of these days.
