Health Ministry releases FAQ because there’s seriously no monkeypox here

Malaysia’s Health Ministry Director General Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah in his official website, kpkesihatan.com shared a list of Frequently Asked Questions on the monkeypox virus.
This is to combat the spread of false information of the virus on social media.
The statement was released in response to a message that went viral on Whatsapp that said monkeypox has spread from Singapore to Malaysia.
And not too long ago, a facebook post went viral too.

Besides, the Singapore Health Ministry has also denied any Malaysians being in contact with the Nigerian patient that had contracted the virus on May 9, 2019.
Just stop with the rumours already OK.
Dr. Noor Hisham reminds all Malaysians to stop spreading any false information as it will only causes unnecessary worry among citizens.
Before you spread any more ‘news’ about the virus, you can even confirm it with the Zoonosis Sector, Disease Control Department by calling them at 03 88834412/4508/4509.
