Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong announced on his official Facebook that an aerospace engineering graduate from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia has been placed in his ministry.

The graduate, Alif Qusyairi Abd Razak, possesses an impressive background being a part of the prestigious Perdana Fellows Programme and a member of the Subang Flying Club Selangor.

Alif is currently undergoing flight tests for an accumulated 50 hours before officially becoming a pilot.

I hope this placement proves to be a valuable experience for him which allows him to learn much more as well.

Dr Wee promised to do his best to provide various exposures to those under the programme, including opportunities to learn more about how the ministry operates, parliamentary duties and social works.

The Perdana Fellows Programme, that’s spearheaded by the Youth and Sports Ministry, provides an opportunity for young Malaysians to experience the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to engage in the highest levels of the federal government and contribute to nation-building.

Chosen candidates are exposed to policy work and assist in national agendas under the direct supervision of the Cabinet Ministers, the Deputy Minister and the Prime Minister.
