41YO Jobless Man Claims Trial For Impersonating Police Officer In Perak
The accused pleaded not guilty to two separate charges: impersonating a police officer and drug use.

An unemployed man claims trial for impersonating a police officer last Monday, reported Sinar Harian.
The accused, C Kevin Cornelius, 41, pleaded not guilty at the Ipoh Magistrate’s Court after the charge was read to him in front of Magistrate Noor Azreen Liana Mohd Darus.
Based on the charge sheet, the man was accused of disguising himself as a police officer in Bukit Kledang, Menglembu at about 8am, last Monday.
He was charged under Section 170 of the Penal Code, which carries a jail term of up to two years, a fine, or both if convicted.
The accused also pleaded not guilty to injecting morphine and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) into his body at the Ipoh District Narcotics Investigation Division office at about 12 noon, last Tuesday.
The charge was made in accordance with Section 15 (1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 which is punishable under the same section and read together with Section 38B (1) of the same act.
He is facing a fine of RM5,000 or a prison sentence of two years as well as having to undergo supervision not more than three years after completing his sentence.
