[Watch] Boy Attempts To Cross Busy Road In Dato Keramat, Parents Nowhere To Be Seen

A video allegedly showing a lone young boy trying to cross the busy road at Dato Keramat recently gained attention online.
The video was recorded by a couple who came across the boy in a neighbourhood and managed to stop him from crossing the main road on his own.
The boy kept saying he was looking for his father. When the couple asked for the location of his father, the crying boy first pointed across the road.

The couple attempted to escort the boy home safely but the task proved difficult when the boy pointed in various directions out of confusion.
At one point, a woman who’s believed to be the man’s wife could be heard suggesting that they call the police for help.
Not long after, a woman in a green dress approached them to take the young boy home without saying thanks. She scolded the boy too.
It was fortunate that the boy wasn’t kidnapped when he was out and about on his own. He was lucky to come across a nice couple who tried to get him home.
Netizens believe the woman in the green dress wasn’t the boy’s mother but the maid instead.
They think that the woman was embarrassed so she quickly tried to bring the boy home and forgot to thank the couple.
