A hotel employee found Salvina in the room and alerted the police at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah police station.

Her body was sent to Hospital Sultanah Aminah forensics unit for post-mortem.

According to Utusan Borneo, Salvina’s sister, Pelubau Chie (19) was asked by the police on 17 February to identify the body at the hospital.

She told Utusan Borneo that her sister’s cause of death was suffocation and did not elaborate any further details other than Salvina got a job as a waitress.

Pelubau said she’s leaving the investigation to the police.

If there’s a criminal element in the case, I hope the authorities will bring the responsible individuals to justice.
