The MCO has affected women disproportionately, with many facing poverty as their income has been affected while they continue to be responsible for costs of raising a family and young children.

However, there are still opportunities for women out there to upskill and improve. In fact, Maggi’s latest programme is aimed specifically at helping Malaysian women upskill themselves at home and in their career.

The Program Mentor Wanita Cukup Berani is organised in collaboration with Google Malaysia’s Women Will program, and features a series of online workshops focused on building self-confidence, improving business skills through digital upskilling, and enhancing cooking skills for a well-balanced improvement in both career and at home.

The first series of these free online workshops will start from September 1st to 3rd, and the next sessions will be on October 20th to 22nd.

Additionally, 3 of 20 shortlisted participants will be selected to participate in a one-on-one mentorship programme with either Datin Paduka Eina Azman, Sheila Rusly, or Anne Idris, who will guide them on their entrepreneurial journey.

It’s an opportunity for women to improve and get ahead in life for a better future. For more information or to sign up for the free online workshops, visit the website here.
