Malaysian netizens were excited after seeing Instagram pictures of actors Lana Condor and Ross Butler posing in front of Batu Caves and at a hotel’s rooftop swimming pool.

Butler also posed next to a monkey at Batu Caves with the caption, “Daddy long neck starstruck in KL.”

Condor jokingly replied in the comments to say it was her worst nightmare (possibly referring to the monkeys).

In another post, Condor uploaded a picture of herself enjoying a bowl of laksa.

Noodle monster always strikes with vengeance. I’d like to bathe in this curry laksa plz.

Butler and Condor were in Malaysia to shoot some scenes for an upcoming romantic comedy film titled Worth the Wait.

According to Deadline, Worth the Wait is an ensemble rom-com film, à la Love Actually, telling an interwoven story about life, love, and modern romance.

The cast includes Andrew Koji (Bullet Train), Sung Kang (Fast & Furious franchise), Elodie Yung (The Cleaning Lady), Karena Lam (American Girl), Osric Chau (Supernatural), Ali Fumiko Whitney (The Road Dance), Ricky He (From), Kheng Hua Tan (Crazy Rich Asians) and Yu-Beng Lim (Rebel Moon).

In her Instagram post, Condor said she has admired the group of actors for so long and she finally got to make a beautiful film with them.

Taiwanese director Tom Shu-Yu Lin (The Garden of Evening Mists) said the film has wrapped production in Vancouver and Kuala Lumpur.

After 15 years of directing in Asia, I’m thrilled to make my first U.S. film with such incredibly talented actors and accomplished fellow filmmakers. Growing up in both the U.S. and Taiwan, the American side of my upbringing has always been a huge part of who I am, and I am so excited to finally be able to showcase that with ‘Worth The Wait.’
