M’sian Tower Runner Wins Empire State Building Race And Then Meets A Superhero

Malaysian tower runner Soh Wai Ching won the Empire State Building Run-Up (ESBRU) in New York today.
Soh clinched the winning spot after conquering all 1,576 stairs in 10 minutes and 40 seconds! According to the official website, athletes in the tower-running sport consider the ESBRU as the ultimate test of endurance.
The Empire State Building Run-Up held on 26 October in New York City also helped to raise funds for Equity Designs.
Equity Designs is on a mission to train 150 teachers on how to use physical activity to enhance learning and impact the health of over 4,500 Bronx youth.
Marvel star Sebastian Stan, who played Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier, supported the cause and joined in the run with his personal fitness trainer, Don Saladino.
Soh’s win also caught the attention of the actor. Sebastian Stan posted about their meet on his Instagram Stories too.

Just like all fans, Soh gushed about it all in an Instagram post.
“Super happy tonight! Won the race and met the Winter Soldier @iamsebastianstan here! Marvel fanboy here. Hoping to meet more Marvel Superhero Actor,” Soh wrote in the caption.
