Malaysia Records 16 New Covid-19 Cases

Malaysia has recorded 16 new Covid-19 cases today (22 July), marking four consecutive days of double-digit new infections, and bringing the total number of active cases to 142.
During Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah’s daily press conference today, he said half of the cases were imported, while the other half were local.
Besides that, four more patients have recovered today, bringing the total number of discharged cases to 8,566.
The latest tally of positive cases in the country now stands at 8,831, while total deaths still stands at 123.
