Missing Covid-19 Positive Indonesian Couple Located And Sent To Hospital For Treatment

The Indonesian couple who disappeared after taking their Covid-19 test on Tuesday have been found and taken into custody last night (18 June).
Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Aidi Ismail said the couple, known as Darusallam and Nurul Hasanah, was found at the side of the road in a residential area located at Jalan Matang Baru at 11.15pm.
As soon as they were located, the police together with Ministry of Health staff took them into custody and sent them to Sarawak General Hospital (HUS).
They are currently receiving treatment at HUS.

The duo had taken Covid-19 tests to complete their work permit application. However, when an officer from the Health Ministry visited them at their residence in a construction site in Petra Jaya on Wednesday to inform them of their positive results, he discovered that they had gone missing.
Following that, an operation was launched to locate them after the Health Ministry lodged a police report on the matter yesterday morning (18 June) .
