3 PJ Church Members Test Positive For COVID-19

One of the largest churches in Malaysia has reported their first confirmed case of COVID-19.

Three members of the Damansara Utama Methodist Church (DUMC) has tested positive for COVID-19.

They were part of the same cluster that was at a cell group meeting on 6 March in Bangsar, KL.

All members of the cell groups are now under self-quarantine and are monitoring themselves for symptoms as well as arranging for COVID-19 testing.

They are also assisting the MOH’s effort in contact tracing those who might have come into contact with the affected.

DUMC is located in Seksyen 13 PJ with about 5,000 worshippers weekly and over 300 study groups (aka “cell groups”).
