Dr Mahathir Runs His Own National Rehabilitation Council With Experts To Fight Covid-19

Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad recently chaired a virtual meeting along with experts in various fields to kick start the shadow National Rehabilitation Council (MPN).
He said that there 18 figures and experts in the fields of health, economics, law and politics whom he said he has previously proposed to become members of the National Rehabilitation Council (MPN).
As I have explained before, this MPN has no political interest of any party or individual except to find a way to help the state overcome disasters.

Keep in mind, when I proposed the establishment of this MPN on June 10, the new cases recorded that day were 5,671 and deaths were 73. Yesterday, new cases reached a record high of 19,819 and deaths of 257 cases, also the highest record so far.

He added that the increase in cases have prompted him and others not be silent and act to save the country.
It is highly irresponsible on our part if we have suggestions and views that can help but choose to remain silent. For us in the MPN, this is our effort and service to the Nation.
