Another Vaccination Centre Closes Down For ‘Coordination Of Duties’

The industry vaccination centre (PPVIN) at Midlands Convention Centre in Shah Alam’s Section 7 was closed today (6 August) for coordination of duties regarding the vaccination of industrial workers.
This comes after a minute-long video went viral showing droves of people in long queues close to each other disregarding basic SOPs for physical distancing.
In the reposted video that comedian Harith Iskandar shared on his Facebook, hundreds or possibly thousands of foreign workers could be seen in lines that extended beyond the PPVIN’s perimeter.
Harith wrote in his post that “17 months into this pandemic and people STILL don’t care/know about the BASIC SOPs of SOCIAL DISTANCING”.
Given the type of vaccination centre it is and its target demographic towards migrant workers, the comedian stressed that those who are trying to blame the “foreigners” to not comment as it is about education and common sense.
