Those who have not been vaccinated, starting with those above 40 and people with comorbidities can get vaccinated at selected Vaccination Centres (PPVs) without an appointment in Klang Valley starting 2 August, instead of 1 August.
The National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NIP) Coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin added in a report that walk-in vaccination will be offered to those above 18 years-old starting 5 August.
The list of vaccination centres that would offer walk-in vaccinations will be issued by the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) today.
He noted that vaccinations offered are on a “first-come-first-serve” basis and will depend on the PPV’s capacity.
We are confident that by tomorrow, 99% of adults in the Klang Valley will receive their appointments.
