UK’s Prince Philip Passes Away, Aged 99
The UK Royal Family website said he passed peacefully this morning.

The UK’s Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, husband of Queen Elizabeth II, and father of Prince Charles, passed away today, Friday, 9 April 2021 at the age of 99.
He had been hospitalised several times over the past few years, most recently in February.
A brief announcement on the UK Royal Family’s official website stated that his passing this morning was peaceful and that further announcements would be made in due course.
Philip married Elizabeth in 1947 before she ascended to the throne, and their marriage had lasted 74 years.
