Umno Supreme Council Member Tests Positive For Covid-19 While Campaigning In Sabah

Umno supreme council member Datuk Mohd Razlan Muhammad Rafii has tested positive for Covid-19.
Speaking to Malaysiakini, Razlan said that while the preliminary test results were positive, he is still waiting for the results of the swab test to confirm if he is really infected, adding that he hopes the initial test results were a false positive.
The first test was an RTK (rapid test kit), this second test is an RT-PCR (Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction). The results should be out today or tomorrow.

Razlan has been campaigning for the upcoming Sabah elections and tested positive while campaigning in Sipitang.
He is now being held at a hospital in Kota Kinabalu while he waits for his confirmatory test results.
