Casio’s iconic G-SHOCK line of watches is getting a new model that may look classic, but is structurally quite different. The GA-B001 models feature an all-new integrated bezel and band construction for absolute toughness.
While watches usually have two parts, the watch itself and the band, this GA-B001 model comes with an integrated bezel. The band is integrated into the bezel, which compromises two separate components that connect at the 9 and 3 o’clock positions.
Additionally, the molded construction follows the lines of the wrist, minimising the space between the wrist and watch for an enhanced fit.
The inspiration of these watches come from VR, with the design meant to evoke a gateway to virtual reality worlds. The new model features a geometric dial design and round index marks.
The GA-B001 models feature the G-Shock in classic black and a new bold shade of red and retails at RM645, while the GA-B001G models have gradated colour print in blue and red respectively for a cool look and retails at RM695.
The new watches go on sale in Malaysia from 7 October at all Casio Malaysia and G-Shock stores online and in-store.
