KL Bird Park Offers Discounted Entry Tickets Until 31 July

Slowly, local tourism is reopening to welcome visitors again as the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) is in place.
This includes local favourite KL Bird Park, situated near the city right next to Lake Gardens and Orchid and Hibiscus Gardens.
The 20 acre park is the largest free-flight aviary park in the world, meaning that the birds here get to fly freely under a large net canopy. This allows visitors to view and enjoy all the different species of birds in their natural habitat. If you’re lucky, a peacock might just display their magnificent tail for you!
Visitors can catch one of the many popular Bird Shows or feed the birds, who are used to human activity. The park houses more than 3,000 birds representing over 200 species, so that means a lovely orchestra of chirping and a beautiful display of feathers.
In fact, about 90% of the birds housed in the KL Bird Park are native to the country, while only about 10% were imported from countries like Australia, China, Holland, Indonesia, New Guinea, Tanzania, and Thailand.
If you’ve never had a chance to visit the KL Bird Park, this is the best time to give it a go, as ticket prices have been dropped to just RM16 for adults with MyKad, and RM6 for senior citizens or children with a MyKad or MyKid. This discount is only valid until 31 July 2020.
Of course, proper precaution must be taken. All visitors are expected to still wear masks and practice proper social distancing.
Do remember to ensure your personal safety and hygiene will out and about during this time, even as you support our local tourism! And while you’re at it, you can make full use of your day and enjoy a stroll through the nearby Orchid Garden and Deer Park too, both of which are free entry!
