12YO Budding Journalist Haziq Gets A New Tablet From Communications Minister

12-year-old Muhammad Haziq Mohd Asyraf recently went viral for speaking eloquently on camera when he reported a snake sighting in Bukit Selambau.

Netizens loved his confidence and were even more amazed when Haziq took over a journalist’s interview on Astro Awani without losing a beat.

His impressive skills caught the attention of Communications and Multimedia Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

To encourage Haziq to hone his skills further, Tan Sri Annuar gifted Haziq a brand new Huawei MatePad tablet complete with the keyboard.

Sharing on his official Facebook page, the minister also thanked Pos Malaysia for safely delivering the device to Haziq.

Haziq could be seen beaming brightly with his new gadget while standing beside the postman in the picture.

With the tablet, Haziq can record more interviews and pursue his interest in broadcast journalism better.

Netizens congratulated Haziq and encouraged him to pursue his interest without neglecting his studies.

They also expressed hope that he’ll be a famous journalist one day and make his family and the country proud.
