There’s a possibility that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob will be announcing his Cabinet Ministers soon.
Sinar Harian reported that the Bera MP is scheduled to meet the Agong on today to present the list of the government’s new Cabinet Ministers.
The line-up, of those who the Agong consents to, is also expected to be sworn in tomorrow and the inaugural meeting of the new Cabinet is said to take place on Friday.
Previously, Ismail Sabri rejected the idea of a unity government – saying that the opposition MPs can instead join the Covid-19 Task Force and the National Recovery Council.

Azmin Ali or Hamzah Zainuddin for DPM?
There’s speculation saying that Bersatu’s Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin are the top candidates for the Deputy Prime Minister position.
Utusan reported that both are believed to have received the ‘green light’ from party president, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Hamzah is said to be eligible to fill the post of DPM based on his work record as a mover and planner when Perikatan Nasional (PN) won in Sabah on September 26 last year.
Azmin is believed to be Mahiaddin’s confidant and this was proven when the Pagoh MP gave an assurance that Azmin would act on his behalf if he was not in the country at that time during his stint as the Prime Minister.
