Asian Dreams is AXN’s latest talent show, boasting soft rock legend Michael Bolton as the judge, creator, and executive producer of the show.
One of the six aspiring musicians is our very own Malaysian singer-songwriter Poova Sri Rama, who has won hearts all over the world, including Michael Bolton’s!
In a Zoom call for media, Michael Bolton praised Poova’s voice and confidence, claiming that she had a great instrument to work with: her voice.
In a way, she set the bar for everybody else on the show.

Poova Sri Rama is a 39-year-old Malaysian singer-songwriter. Despite being a late bloomer by music industry standards, she has 10 years of professional singing experience and has won quite a number of awards.
She notes Michael Bolton was definitely a good mentor, as he is a legendary soul singer with an amazing range.
