Immigration Dept Website Hacked, Now Under Maintenance
The Immigration Department website is allegedly hacked by someone known as CaptainSmok3r.

Earlier today, a Twitter user posted that the Malaysian immigration website was hacked.
A search on Google revealed that the immigration website’s name has been changed to “Hacked by CaptainSmok3r.”
At the time of writing, the website remains inaccessible.

The Immigration Department informed on Twitter that their site is currently undergoing maintenance.
Netizens lamented about the poor security of government websites and the increasing number of scams due to weak security.
A netizen advised the government to hire better cybersecurity personnel to monitor such attacks in the future.
