Just by the name alone, you wouldn’t know that Five Guys is a burger chain, let alone one of the most popular and well-loved American restaurant chains!
Those in the know, however, can rejoice because we no longer need to plan a trip to the United States for a bite of the famous burger: Five Guys is opening their first outlet in Malaysia!
The burger chain has a cult-like following for its fresh burgers, despite a small and simple menu: handmade beef burgers, potato fries, and milkshakes. But the small menu isn’t a limitation, because everything is customizable at no additional cost, encouraging you to build your own perfect Five Guys burger.
Opening In Genting 25th Oct
Malaysia’s first outlet will open its doors on 25 October 2021 at Sky Avenue, Resorts World Genting.
Create your own burgers and milkshakes at the vibrant American diner-themed restaurant. However, to ensure that a wider range of customers are able to enjoy Five Guys burgers, the Malaysian restaurant will not serve pork or lard in their kitchen. (This means no bacon options!)
That said, be prepared to fork out American prices for the American fast food too. Based on a menu sighted by TRP, the classic Five Guys Hamburger goes for RM35, while a Cheeseburger is priced at RM40. Regular-sized fries are priced at RM25, while a large goes for RM30.
Surprisingly, the Milkshake is one of the cheapest items on the menu, priced at just RM10 with all the mix-ins you can want.
