KFC’s Zinger Double Down Makes A Roaring Return

We’ve been waiting for far too long for the KFC Zinger Double Down to come back, and now it has.

We’re not going to lie, the Double Down is one of our favourites.

Instead of the usual soft bread buns, the Zinger Double Down features two Zinger patties as the “bun” sandwiching a crispy chicken strip, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, and a slather of signature Jalapeno cheese sauce.

Then, the brand new Cheezilla Double Down adds a special twist to the special burger with a whole fried mozzarella cheese patty, so you really get to pack on the protein.

We’ve tried the fried mozzarella chesse patty before, when it was introduced in another of KFC’s limited-time burgers, so it’s definitely gonna be good!

The Zinger Double Down was first introduced to Malaysians as a limited-time menu item in 2012, and has seen a popular uptake everytime it is brought back.

Perhaps it’s about time KFC just made it a part of the permanent menu.
