Here’s some good news for fast-food fans this Merdeka.
In conjunction with the National day and the end of their Drive-Thru Carnival, McDonald’s Malaysia will be giving out 60,000 FREE McChicken burgers on 31 August 2021 at 202 Drive-Thru outlets nationwide.
3 Merdeka Chants = 1 McChicken Voucher
Wait, it’s not as simple as showing up. But it’s not that hard either.
All you have to do to receive your free McChicken voucher is to:
- Visit any McD Drive-Thru on 31 August
- Wave a Malaysian Flag
- Shout “Merdeka” 3 times at the order window
Et voila!
But please, for the love of SOPs, leave those masks on when proudly chanting “Merdeka”, even if you are in your car.
And speaking of SOPs, if you are there to do more than just claim your free burger voucher, use your Visa Contactless card to pay because if you do, every minimum purchase of RM25 at the Drive-Thru is eligible for free French Fries (M) and 100Plus Zero.
