Fine-dining Japanese-Peruvian restaurant Nobu has dazzled its diners with a grand view of the city and haute Japanese-Peruvian cuisine from their location in KLCC since 2014.

However, while diners will still be able to savour delicacies, it will be the last month to soak up the KL view from the 56th floor.

Nobu Is Moving

Nobu will be moving to its new location at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur early next year. They will serve their last plates at their current location in Menara 3, KLCC on 31st December 2020.

To celebrate their 6 years of history, executive chef Philip Leong and his team have created a special menu with premium ingredients to end the year 2020 and Nobu’s time in KLCC with a bang.

A Wintry Affair

Their latest offering is A Wintry Affair For Two at RM488+ per couple. The five course meal will be available from 1st to 30th December, featuring exquisite flavours and immaculate dishes.

The menu will tempt you with moriawase to begin with – featuring nuanced delights such as the buttery toro blue fin tuna, the refreshing hamachi yellowtail paired with pickled mango, and fresh salmon wrapped in kelp with a flavourful ponzu sauce.

You can choose to add-on fresh oyster with caviar and foie gras to your moriawase selection too.

Then, partake in a fine selection of chef’s selection of omakase, featuring exquisite cuts of fatty bluefin tuna, dashing kimedai red snapper, delicate kampachi longfin yellowtail, and even deftly prepared ebi shrimp.

For mains, dig in to a tangy and delicate steamed lemon sole (which can be upgraded to a buttery lobster sake soy truffle) and melt-in-your-mouth smoked angus beef tenderloin (which can be upgraded to Japanese Wagyu beef).

The Christmas menu ends on a sweet note with their delicious dessert of a green tea mince pie flambé paired with rice ice cream.

The Grand Finale

New Year’s Eve will have a special 7-course menu to end 2020 on a high note. The Sake & Wine Pairing For Two is a culinary journey of exquisite flavours paired with specialty sake and wine.

While similar to the Wintry Affair menu, the New Year’s Eve special adds a new dimension with a selection of alcohol at RM988+ per couple (although non-alcoholic beverages are offered as well at RM728+ per couple).

Premium dishes will be served, including luxurious delights such as the addition of fresh oyster with foie gras and caviar to the moriawase, paired with French Mumm Grand Cordon Brut champagne.

Then, tickle your tastebuds with the buttery uni sea-urchin roe soba, paired with a delicate polished Hokusetsu Nobu daiginjo TK40 premium sake.

Mains served will include the succulent lobster sake soy truffle paired with Joseph Drouhin St. Veran Chardonnay, while the smoked Japanese Wagyu beef will be paired with a warm Norton Colleccion Malbec.

This elevated offering will ensure that our guests can have an unforgettable experience on New Year’s Eve with us against the KLCC backdrop.
