This year, Malaysians will be spending Ramadan under the movement control order (MCO). Despite the subdued festivities, McDonald’s Malaysia is still determined to celebrate the holy month with new offerings for their Ramadan menu.
The new Crispy Fish Foldover (RM16.99 for the set) and Ayam Goreng McD with Sweet and Spicy Sauce (RM15.49 for the 2-pc set) will be added to this year’s menu, in addition to their usual Ramadan menu items like the Grilled Chicken Foldover.
Since the Grilled Chicken Foldover has always been a hit, this year’s introduction of the fish version brings another option to customers with a crispy golden fish patty instead.
The Ayam Goreng McD selection promises to introduce chicken lovers to a brand new taste profile with a sweet & spicy sauce.
Our local fruits are also making a comeback to the McDonald’s dessert menu with the new Chocolate Banana McFlurry, Chocolate Banana Pie, Banana Sundae, and Strawberry Custard Pie.
The McCafe will also be introducing new Kurma drinks for the Ramadan period, such as the Iced Kurma, Iced Kurma Latte, and Iced Kurma Milk.
McDonald’s Malaysia has also added precautionary measures for their delivery riders to ensure contactless delivery service for customers. All crew members are required to wear face masks and gloves, while take-away bags are sealed with the rider’s and crew’s temperature reading noted on the bag.
