ASUS Malaysia today announced the new Vivobook 15X OLED (M1503, AMD), a feature-packed laptop with a brilliant OLED HDR display with a cinema-grade DCI-P3 gamut. The ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED makes it easy to get things done, anywhere: everything about it has been improved, from its powerful AMD Ryzen™ 7 mobile processor to its 180° lay-flat hinge, modern colors and sleek geometric design.

These user-friendly, youthfully styled premium mainstream laptop is powered by an up to AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800H eight-core processor and includes a wide variety of high-quality components and innovative class-leading features that make them suitable for any kind of task.

The Vivobook 15X OLED (M1503) features superb OLED NanoEdge displays with 2.8K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 0.2 ms response time, cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, PANTONE® Validated color accuracy, and 550 nits HDR peak brightness1. VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 600 certification ensures the deepest possible blacks and a high contrast ratio for enhanced detail. Its display also includes TÜV Rheinland low blue-light certification to ensure eye comfort during long viewing sessions.

The Vivobook 15X OLED (M1503) is distinguished by feature-packed specifications²that include a physical webcam shield for instant privacy, a full-size ASUS ErgoSense keyboard and a fingerprint sensor in the touchpad. They also feature ASUS Antibacterial Guard to protect against harmful bacteria.

The all-new slim and lightweight design of The Vivobook 15X OLED (M1503) is clean and attractive, with fresh color – Quiet Blue. The 180° lay-flat hinge makes it easy to share and collaborate. The Vivobook 15X OLED (M1503) delivers next-level performance with up to a Ryzen 7 5800H processor, 8 GB of DDR4 RAM (with additional DDR4 SO-DIMM slot) and an ultrafast 512 GB PCIe 3.0 SSD that makes every task effortless, whether it’s streaming, browsing, editing, video chatting, or just taking care of business at home.

To ensure maximum performance and keep Vivobook 15X OLED laptop cool in all situations, the ASUS IceCool cooling system uses upgraded dual heat pipes — a rare feature on entry-level laptops — and an IceBlade fan that efficiently accelerates heat transfer. The 87-blade fan and impeller are made of a liquid crystal polymer that means they’re lighter and thinner than ordinary fans. In addition, the fan uses a fluid dynamics bearing that’s quieter and has less vibration than an ordinary bearing. The end result is that the mighty CPU can run comfortably at a blistering 45 W total TDP in Performance mode with no throttling.

For visual excellence, Vivobook 15X OLED features a superb 2.8K OLED HDR three-sided NanoEdge display, which is super-bright and has a cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 color gamut for ultra-vivid colors. They are also PANTONE® Validated for professional-grade color accuracy and TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue-light emissions.

With a 120 Hz refresh rate and 0.2 ms response time, its display is perfect for productivity, creative work or gaming. In addition, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification ensures the deepest possible blacks and a high contrast ratio for enhanced detail in dark scenes. It has an expansive 16:10 aspect ratio that reduces the need for scrolling.

Coupled with the powerful-yet-efficient AMD Ryzen™ 5000H series mobile processors manufactured on the 7nm process, the Vivobook 15X OLED provides up to 14 hours on a single charge.

Availability & Pricing

The Vivobook 15X OLED (M1503) will be available at RM 3,299 (Ryzen 5) and RM 3,699 (Ryzen 7) in Malaysia. Both variants will be available for sale at ASUS official stores and retailers starting 17^thAugust 2022 (mid-August).
