[Watch] Major Accident Near Menora Tunnel Involving A Bus, 9 Cars
Videos show vehicles crushed and stuck to a bus involved in the incident.

Multiple vehicles were involved in a major accident on Friday (12 May) at Kilometer 256.7 in the northbound direction between the Menora Tunnel and Kuala Kangsar, Perak.
The incident caused traffic congestion along a distance of about 10 kilometres due to road closures for rescue work.
PLUS Malaysia Berhad reported that the incident had been resolved, and both lanes reopened at 6:57 pm.
However, traffic was still reported to be moving slowly.
Videos of the recent accident show a car believed to have been crushed after being hit by the bus involved.
Two other vehicles were also seen stuck to the front of the bus.
However, the status of the victims involved in the accident is unknown at the time of writing.
Past Accidents at Menora Tunnel Raise Safety Concerns
This is not the first time an accident has occurred in this area.
The Menora Tunnel has been the site of several accidents in the past.
In 2019, a bus carrying passengers collided with a trailer truck, killing two people and injuring several others.
In 2017, a similar accident occurred when a bus crashed into a trailer truck, causing multiple injuries.
With such heavy traffic, accidents are unfortunately not uncommon.
PLUS Malaysia Berhad has urged all drivers to exercise caution when driving in this area to prevent future accidents.
