The family members of a 22-year-old girl from Klang, who recently died, have declined condolence money from netizens.

Instead, they asked netizens to donate to charity organizations in need in the name of the girl, Ang Hui Enn.

Her cousin posted on her Facebook that the family members are doing fine.

At the same time, the cousin requested the public to stop calling the family members, especially Hui Enn’s mother.

The public is also asked not to speculate and spread rumours.

A Tragic Story

Hui Enn was reported missing recently after leaving her home in Taman Sentosa, Klang.

According to her brother Wei Hang, he realized his sister was not at home and tried to contact her without success before realizing that her mobile phone was in the room.

Wei Hang then checked the phone’s contents and was surprised to find a note written in Chinese stating that she wanted to commit suicide outside the house without inconveniencing others.

Worried about his younger sister’s safety, Wei Hang immediately made a report at the Klang police station.

He also sought help on social media.

After more than 24 hours, the authorities found the victim dead near her residence.

Sin Chew reported that Hui Enn was found less than 300 meters away from her home.

When the family members who received the news rushed to the scene, they burst into tears and couldn’t accept Hui En’s departure.

At the same time, the family also prevented the media from filming the incident.

Meanwhile, her family members thanked the authorities and the public on social media for helping them.

However, the exact cause of the victim’s death is unknown, and the police have not issued any statement regarding the case.

The incident had divided opinions among netizens.

Some had been criticised for their lack of empathy and sensitivity when commenting about the deceased.

At the same time, many expressed their condolences and said that emotional well-being is a significant health concern often overlooked.
