LRT Passenger Claims She Was Slapped By Random Aunty

The alleged aggressor was said to be mentally unstable.

A Light Rail Transit (LRT) user claimed she was slapped by an elderly woman believed to be mentally unstable.

The incident allegedly happened at Hang Tuah LRT Station recently.

According to the complainant, she did not expect this would happen to her while she was waiting to get off the LRT at the station.

The victim, whose Twitter username is @Pei_Loy, posted her experience on social media.

An aunty suddenly slapped me in the face while I was queueing to get out of the LRT. Then my friend and I screamed at the top of our lungs to ask for help from the auxiliary police at the station.

As a result of their quick actions, the woman involved was successfully arrested and handed over to auxiliary police members for further action.

It was said that the woman could be mentally unstable.

The complainant and her friend then went to the nearby Dang Wangi Police Station to file a police report.

The victim also thanked the police for their help.

She said the men in blue had been efficient and dedicated to solving the matter.
