A man woke up to a nightmare after sleeping in his car, which was parked along the Federal Highway.

While asleep, the man was robbed and relieved of his possessions except for his handphone.

Nor Izwan Izzat had parked his car around 3 am and took a nap because he was too tired.

He only found out he was robbed after being awoken by a call from his bank at 7 am.

The bank called to alert him that some withdrawals and transactions had been made.

Sharing his predicament on Twitter, he said the incident happened near Shell and Petronas petrol stations near Batu Tiga, towards the direction of Shah Alam.

He sought help from social media, asking people to notify him if they came across his Coach bag.

He fears the thief might break into his home as his MyKad, house key and access card were stolen.

He was also dumbfounded that the thief could figure out his PIN and withdraw money from the bank.

The thief also used his debit, leaving him with less than RM50 in several accounts.

Nor Izwan Izzat reminded the public to always lock their car if they needed to sleep inside.

Some said they encountered similar situations while sleeping in the car.
