Former Minister of Health Khairy Jamaluddin will work as a presenter at the Hot FM radio station starting next Wednesday (15 Feb).

MPA added that in line with the Hot FM radio station’s tagline, ‘Yang Hangat dan Terbaik (The Hot And Best), Khairy’s presence in Bekpes Hot is expected to give the station a new boost with exciting colours for the segment involved.

Khairy confirmed that he would join Hot FM in a telephone interview on the Bekpes Hot segment conducted by Johan, AG and Datuk AC Mizal.

The MPA statement added that Hot FM’s offer made the offer to Khairy through an open letter on Instagram @hotfm976.

A 9-5 Job

The offer is for the position of a radio presenter who will be on duty every Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 10 am.

MPA added that in line with the Hot FM radio station’s tagline, ‘Yang Hangat dan Terbaik (The Hot And Best), Khairy’s presence in Bekpes Hot will give Hot FM a new injection and more exciting colours for the segment involved.

MPA Chief Executive Officer, Nazri Noran, said the opportunity to offer Khairy as a radio presenter was taken by Hot FM to ensure that the content of the Bekpes Hot segment stays fresh and relevant to listeners.

Khairy or KJ is a great politician, leader, and influencer who significantly impacts Malaysians. KJ’s presence will give listeners something different through pairing politicians, comedians and radio presenters and a new dimension for the country’s radio landscape.

Umno announced the sacking of Khairy last month, alongside former Selangor chairman Tan Sri Noh Omar.

Former vice president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein and several others were slapped with a 6-year suspension order.

They were sacked or suspended for breaching the party discipline and constitution during the 15th General Election (GE15).
