Full Lane Closure Tomorrow Between Ipoh Utara & Ipoh Selatan (Southbound) on PLUS Highway

PLUS’ North-South Expressway users heading towards Kuala Lumpur from Kuala Kangsar on 30 November are advised to use alternative roads.

PLUS Malaysia has announced today on their social media a temporary road closure on the North-South Expressway (NSE) between Ipoh Utara and Ipoh Selatan toll plazas from KM267.3 to KM280.6 heading south.

The closure is set to occur tomorrow 30 November (Wednesday) from 10 am to 2.30 pm.

Road users from the north or Kuala Kangsar heading to the south or Kuala Lumpur are advised to use an alternative route. They will be diverted to the Federal Road (FT240) Jalan Jelapang-Ampang slip road and those heading south can re-enter the NSE via the Ipoh Selatan toll plaza.

The closure is due to a Highway Emergency Simulation Excercise that will be done to evaluate the level of preparedness of PLUS personnel and other agencies.
