Watsons Malaysia has introduced 8 The Thalasso, a new water-retaining beauty serum hair care brand.
8 The Thalasso is touted as a premium haircare product with the power to moisturize the scalp and hair with “water retention care” that goes beyond moisturizing.
8 The Thalasso’s stem cell prescription comes with a luxurious combination of marine-derived ingredients for scalp care, bringing the head spa experience right into your home.

Thalasso comes from the Greek word “Thálassa”, meaning sea. Made with the proprietary innovation of “Thalasso Stem Cell Formula”, harvesting ingredients and combining stem cell extract that deeply penetrates and repairs damaged cuticles from within.

Loh was recently speaking to the media and influencers at the launch of 8 The Thalasso in Kuala Lumpur.
Also present at the launch was MKA Joycare managing director Joyce Lee.
Lee said Malaysians should pay attention to their hair care by knowing the hair-washing steps.

The Moist
8 The Thalasso offers two series of hair care range, namely Moist (for normal to dry scalp) and Smooth (for normal to oily scalp).
The Moist series is formulated with 3 types of stem cells: Thalasso Stem Cell, Apple Stem Cell, and Grape Stem Cell with the proprietary “Aqua Delivery System” that quickly repairs holes and tears in the cuticles and maintains the hydration with “Aqua Network”.
The series offers 4 products: Cleansing Repair & Moist Shampoo, Deep Repair & Aqua Moist Treatment, Rich Coat & High Moist Hair Mask, and Repair Shot & Extra Moist Hair Oil.
The Smooth
The Smooth series is formulated with 3 types of stem cells: Thalasso Stem Cell, Apple Stem Cell, and Eryngium Maritimum Stem Cell to nourish and revitalize weak hair cell activity.
The series offers 4 products: Cleansing Repair & Smooth Shampoo, Smooth Repair & Aqua Treatment, Smooth Coat Rich Hair Mask, and Balancing Serum & Smooth Repair Hair Oil.
Apart from the 2 hair care series mentioned above, 8 The Thalasso also has a Moisturizing & Repairing Booster Hair Mist product formulated with Thalasso and Apple Stem Cells and Meadowfoam δ-Lactone to prevent untamed hair and with Hydroxypropyl chitosan to protect hair from humidity.
Due to the hot weather and pollutants in the air, the hair also needs extra care and cleansing, similar to the “Double Cleansing” carried out in our daily skincare regime.
Reset Cleansing and Head Spa Pre-Shampoo
8 The Thalasso range also includes its Reset Cleansing and Head Spa Pre-Shampoo.
Formulated with 3 types of stem cells – Thalasso Stem Cell, Apple Stem Cell, and Grape Stem Cell with an additional ingredient Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Oil, it aids in hair loss prevention and promotes hair growth, with Diospyros Kaki Fruit Extract that provides antioxidant for a youthful scalp.
Pre-shampoo is to be used as the first step in washing your hair to pre-cleanse before shampooing.
It also functions to help reset our scalp by cleaning sebum and dirt from pores, removing styling product remnants, promoting blood circulation, and giving us healthier hair growth.
In addition, it can effectively remove impurities that shampoo alone cannot remove for better oil control on the scalp and is recommended to be used 1-2 times a week.
