Son Allegedly Assaults Mom For Not Keeping The House Clean

According to Petaling Jaya District Police Chief ACP Mohamad Fakhruddin Abdul Hamid, the 44-year-old lady was injured in the face and body.

Police arrested a teenage boy suspected of beating his mother for not cleaning their house in Kampung Lindungan Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya, last Friday.

The 44-year-old lady was injured in the face and body, according to Petaling Jaya District Police Chief ACP Mohamad Fakhruddin Abdul Hamid.

According to Bernama, he said that the 19-year-old suspect locked the front door and threw household ornaments at the victim throughout the altercation.

The suspect, who has a criminal history, also hit the victim in the face and stood on the left side of the victim’s chest.

The police arrested the teenager around 7.30 p.m. on Monday after receiving a report from his mother. He has been remanded until this Saturday (5 November) to assist with the investigation.

Mohamad Fakhruddin stated that the suspect tested negative for drugs and was under investigation for inflicting harm with a weapon or other hazardous object under Section 324 of the Penal Code.

He also confirmed that this was not the suspect’s first offense and that his team was investigating whether or not the suspect had a mental illness.
