On the 8th of October, ‘7 Hari Mencintaiku’ actress, Wafariena, ruptured a tissue on her backside, tore a tissue on her abdomen, and endured five days of internal bleeding as a result of the stunt that was intended for a stunt performer.

The 27-year-old was taken to KPJ Rawang Specialist Hospital for six days, from October 8 to October 14, for injuries sustained as a consequence of a stunt in which she was ‘pulled’ to make it look as though she was thrown backwards forcefully.

The actress’s mother gave a period of one week to the production team to discuss and resolve all the problems before filing a police report and taking legal action.

When contacted, Suzana said that she has not filed a police report because she wants to give room for discussion for a settlement action to be made out of pity for the well-behaved publishers and new players in the entertainment industry.

How Did It Happen?

She stated that on October 8 at 3 a.m. They were filming a television movie in the middle of a jungle in Lenggong, Perak.

The scene was supposed to be performed by a stunt coordinator, but then the director told me to do it myself

She said that after performing the stunt, her body ached badly until she was weak to even move.

After 6am, I went to a nearby clinic and the doctor gave me a pain injection and due to my worsened state, the doctor advised me to do further check-up at a hospital.

Wafariena stated that she was stunned by the director, who, according to her, did not care to check on her and remained silent about the occurrence.

She claimed that she was furious after finding that the director persisted in filming further sequences after the event and urged her to return to the set despite the fact that she could hardly walk.

Wafariena has now been discharged from the hospital and is currently resting at home, according to her mother and manager, Suzana Hamad.

It is said that the actress must undergo physiotherapy three times a week.

Meanwhile, the director still hasn’t said a word to us until now although the production house did send a representative from their side on Thursday to check on Wafa, five days after the incident.

Wafariena Roslan’s mother stated that, as a consequence of her daughter’s prior traumatic experience, she will be more strict in ensuring that only the director can be trusted to work with the actor.

According to Suzana Hamad, she chose to adopt this attitude in order to prevent a repeat of the occurrence that resulted in Wafariena’s severe injury.

Suzana stated that she will not allow her daughter to comply with any selfish director’s instructions.

I shall be a stricter mother after this. This is a lesson for Wafa (Wafariena) and other aspiring artists.

Actor Azhan Rani Shares His Experience On How He Was Disregarded By A Local Production House As Well

Malay Mail stated that fellow actor Azhan Rani turned to Instagram to discuss how he was handled and disregarded by a local production company following a car accident in January of this year.

Azhan revealed in an Instagram post that he was hurrying to a production company-scheduled last-minute filming when he was involved in a motorbike accident.

According to Azhan, a representative from the production company visited him in the emergency department after the accident, but only to hand him over to his friend and fellow actor, Beto Kusyairi, and his wife, who later handled the situation.

He claimed that the production company only phoned him to wish him a speedy recovery during his first week in the hospital, before informing him that he had been replaced for the film part just before he underwent surgery.

Maybe finishing the film is more important than my own life. I was on my way to work when I was involved in the accident. It’s unfortunate that performers are (treated) as aliens.
