[Watch] Singer Noh Salleh Spitting Onstage Caused Outrage, But He Claims He Was Electrocuted

The frontman of local band Hujan finds himself in the middle of yet another controversy.

The last few months have definitely been difficult for Noh Salleh. Everything began when news of his divorce with Mizz Nina broke back in August.

Later, on August 21st, the “Angin Kencang” singer walked down the runway at Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2022 while holding a cigarette. His behavior made his fans furious, as it sets a negative example for society, particularly for children and teenagers.

However, the frontman for Hujan stayed silent on the matter.

Fans came for a show, got violence instead

Noh was in hot water again two days ago when a video of him spitting at a fan during his stage performance went viral on social media.

The lead singer was not only spotted spitting at one of the concert’s attendees, he also threw a mic stand at the crowd.

The event is said to have occurred during the singer’s performance at the Hausboom Music Festival 2022 in MAEPS Serdang, Selangor.

The video has now received over 704.6k views. And understandably, many netizens have used social media to attack Noh.

A Twitter user said, ” No wonder he got dumped.”

There are fans who are concerned about his behavior. A fan said that he is grieving and he should really go to therapy.

Fans did, however, emphasize that, while individuals grieve in various ways, his actions were still wrong.

However, He Wasn’t Spitting At Fans

The matter was confirmed by the manager of the group Hujan, Ahmad Ariffin Ahmad, who informed Noh that he was actually electrocuted by a microphone that touched his sweaty face until his mouth went numb.

The incident occurred due to a technical problem. Noh was supposed to perform with a guitar, but had to sing without playing the guitar at the event.

He also stated that the hand-held microphone has problems. When Noh put the microphone near his mouth, he got a small electric shock.

I would like to emphasize that the claim that Noh spat at the audience is not true. The distance between the stage and the audience is also separated by barricades, so it is not possible spit to hit the audience

He then apologized and said if the viral video offends people or viewers who are hit by Noh’s spit, it was not intentional.

At the same time, the manager also answered netizens’ questions about the mental health of the ex-husband of entrepreneur and community activist, Mizz Nina, following several incidents that went viral involving Noh before.
