As such, it is speculated that the management decided to tackle the shortage by replacing it with ‘cucumber salad’ as seen in his TikTok posting.

No Longer Finger Licking Good

Netizens also expressed their disappointment.

KFC’s coleslaw is loved by many as it is chopped to the right size, and the mayonnaise and vinegar ratios give just the right amount of tangy creaminess

They pointed out that many of their favourite KFC dishes such as fries and potato wedges are also not the same as before.

Netizens added that KFC would be in trouble if they come across picky customers.

Some suggests making their own coleslaw based on KFC’s characteristic flavour.

Previously, netizens had also complained the lack of chicken at KFC outlets, and also the small size of chickens.

KFC Malaysia said the shortage was due to global supply chain disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
