Passengers in a Perodua Alza escaped by the skin of their teeth when the vehicle suddenly skidded before flipping and ended on the road shoulder.

The recording of the moment was recorded by an action camera installed by a motorcyclist while passing through the road in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

In the recording, the Alza had just passed a bend in the road and was seen to be braking before it skidded.

Fortunately, no other vehicles in the accident were involved and all the passengers in the car were able to get out safely.

The causes of skidding can be due to conditions of the road, the vehicle and the actions of the driver.

The most common reason for a car to skid or slide is too much power or speed.

Netizens said the Alza wasn’t really going that fast.

They believe the accident was caused by the driver pressing the brake pedal hard while going through a bend.

In addition, the road was also slippery and wet due to rain, which could have reduced the tires’ friction with the road.
