The Covid-19 infection continued to record an increase to 11,034 cases, bringing a cumulative total of 2,925,254 cases.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar will hold a special press conference this afternoon to announce the latest development status of the Omicron variant.
Despite the rising numbers, there is still hope that the situation might not be as bad as last year.
Accordingly, most of the cases this time around are stages 1 and 2 respectively due to Malaysia’s high vaccination rate.
